MY WAY TO BECOME MORE HUMAN, LESS INTELLECTUAL...
All this journey started when I was require to teach at a school; however, this time I will be teaching High School. I thought at first that I will have some problems at very beginning. First, I started to teach three weeks after my classmates, so I was running out of time. I decided to teach at C.E. INSA because I studied there since I was in 7°; however, I could not find the teacher as well as the coordinator in order to ask for authorization for teaching there.
Second, I found the teacher who will be my tutor during eight weeks, and he seemed to be all I did not expect to find on a teacher, lack of English skills especially speaking skills. He told me that he really loved the way I speak because according to him my voice was so sweet and natural.

Third, my schedule was totally diferent from my classmates, who attended school twice or thrice a week, because I taught on Saturdays from 6:45 to 12 o'clock, which was a real challenging schedule for me.
The teacher, my tutor, provided me a book he used as a source for planning classes. Even though I did not go for the observation class, I prepared myself for my first class. However, I faced another complex situation since the amount of students was so big for me, and I even thought I would not be able to manage them. The amount of students was approximately a hundred and three students (51 students for section A, and 53 students for section B)
Then, the day for my teaching practice arrived and I prepared all the material for it such as information since I was going to teach the Present Perfect for both sections, A and B, that Saturday. Also, I prepared some charts in order to create a nice environment for my new students. I was really happy because I managed pretty well the Present Perfect. I started my class with a nice warm - up.
I will never forget the first day because I was facing a different world since I tought little kids, then teenager, and now, pre - adults.

The
most important thing I have done in my teaching practicum is that I applied the
usage of drama in my classes, so that my students enjoyed it a lot and put into
practice the Present Perfect tense and some others.
Below this square are two videos, which were created by my students who created a website to share all their experiences in life, about the dramas done in my classes at C.E.INSA.

MY REFLECTION
_
Saturday
by Saturday, I understood that students were mainly concerned in their social
and intra – intrapersonal life than the English class. So, I noticed that
students needed something else I was not offering them, and it was of course,
feelings. I considered myself as someone who needs facts instead of fanciful
things, so I saw that I needed to change that situation since I saw my students
behaving so kind, friendly and honestly without knowing me.
As a result, I comprehend that I needed to add some kindness and human sense towards my pupils. For some reason, I understood why some students behave differently from teacher to teacher. In addition, I noticed that students need more than all the knowledge teachers can provide them; this means a real unconditional affect for them. (However, I also noticed that we, as teachers, need to balance both things: knowledge and human sensibility)

In
regards of my performance, I might say that, obviously, I did it better than my
tutor, even the punctuality. The teaching practice did not caused me so much
troubles; in fact, I prepared all my lesson plans, materials, activities, and
so forth without my tutor’s help.
