THE SITUATION
Our experience in dramas...
My classmates and I were asked to create a drama through songs. We used our imagination and creativity to do it well. We invented a situation in which a couple had a daugther in her teens; she was behaving differently with everybody because she had a boyfriend, and he influenced her to practice different things such as smoking or being disrespectuful with her parents. Her boyfriend was a street boy who smoked and drank alcohol.

THE SPECULATIONS
When her parents realized what was happening, they asked their daughter to take her boyfriend home, so, she accepted. Then, her boyfriend went with her to ask for permission to her parents. They didn't accept him, so they broke up. At the end, the boy changed, and her parents gave him an opportunity.
Drama is a very interesting way to teach and learn English. I have experienced this through dramatizing in classes, and while teaching. This tool helped me to make my own learning easier because I can express my feelings and emotions, and also I acted by being myself.
When teachers use dramas in class they show that this is a good way to teach English easier. I learned how possible and stunning is that students learn through dramatizing. It’s spectacular how teachers improve and motivate more students to learn English. It’s helpful because teachers learn as well as students.
I like using drama with students at school because they enjoy learning, they are motivated, and they ask and practice their English.
Furthermore, I use drama with my classmates in order to improve our teaching and learning skills. We do it to prepare our classes and notice if things may whether work or not. Being honest, I used to be ashamed when people talked about drama or similar topics because I didn’t know how funny and useful it is; however, I am not anymore. I have realized that I have been using drama in my classes for students to understand and recognize much better. What I use is more mimic than drama, but it works. Students catch what I try to say or make them know. A vivid example of this is while teaching “The Present Continuous Tense” because teachers should act or mimic the action verbs they are studying. I did it, it worked, and students liked it. Besides, I asked students to do it, and they did it well.

Now, I am taking Didactics II to learn and prepare some of the ways to teach English in a letting students having fun while learning. I feel sure and safe to use drama and develop it in my classes being part of it, of course!!
As I would like to work at Junior High School, High School, and University levels, I am sure I am going to use drama in classes. Drama is an excellent way to motivate students for some reasons such as they like dramatizing, enjoy playing roles, get more interested in English, etc. I hope drama will work well with my students as well as with me because it allows showing emotions.
What’s more, I am going to ask students to use dramatizing through songs as it worked with my classmates and me it would work with them, and I hope so. Mimic is going to be another way to make students work without being and feeling under pressure to complete tasks as they are going to be free to create their own learning using their imagination, creativity, originality, ingenuity, inspiration, etc. to dramatize.
Using technology, my classmates and I were assigned to create a web page, and show the rest of the class how to create it. This topic was really meaningful for me as I didn't know anything about creating web pages. I have to say that this was new an amazing for me because I learned how to create them, I knew how useful they can be in the class to motivate students To learn. Now, I know the different uses web pages have for teachers and students as well. It is important to teach our students that we, and they, can take advantage of technology to learn. Web pages have wonderful things, actions, and functions to create lots of meaningful activities, tasks, and classes for students. This tool may help teachers to innovate the teaching-learning process.
Technology is a really unbelievable tool for teachers. This tool can be used in many diverse ways, so, teachers just need to be careful, get prepare about it to use in the correct ways. It can be used with power point presentations to develop topics in a class. Even though teachers don’t take advantage of its uses because they do not try to innovate, to change routines, and provide students a security feeling.
_ If teachers take advantage of technology, students would be more
interested and motivated to learn. I have learned that students are
modern, so they need modern teachers, teaching methods, activities, etc.
We can use technology to present the class, to develop a topic,
administer a quiz, show a video, a part of a movie, etc. It helps
because students need technology in their lives to learn. It catches
more students’ attention as it is interesting for them. Technology is
catchy for students as they know a lot of technology (most of them).
Above and beyond I can use the Internet to show them how it should be
used to take advantage of the tools we have to study and make teaching
and learning easier for everybody.
I have to keep in mind that technology is broad, and it includes everything we possess, even if we have tiny possessions, but they aid our lives. Now, I know more about what I can do using technology in classes. It’s going to help me and students, too.

_I am going to use technology in the classroom to innovate my teaching
skills as I need to take risks to achieve goals and face challenges.

learning. I will teach students how to use technology correctly and that
everything is technology.
