One of the most significant topics is how to create interactive PowerPoint because if we use interactive PowerPoint in a class, students will pay attention and will be interested about the class. That’s why teachers should learn how to create interactive PowerPoint because in this way they will do more interesting their classes and students will learn better.

This is a very significant topic because I have learned how to create presentations with PowerPoint, but I did not know how to make them more dynamic, also I didn’t know how to add images, audio, and animations to my presentations, and now I know how to create an interactive PowerPoint. Although creating an interactive presentation in PowerPoint might sound intimidating at first, it is actually a straightforward process. All you need is an informative topic, a well-planned-out presentation, the insertion of few links, and an interested audience. You might even find that an interactive presentation increases your students’ interest in your subject.
Here we have some instructions in order to create an interactive PowerPoint presentation:
- Outline the entire presentation. Decide exactly which topics will be covered, which questions will be asked of the audience, and the appropriate order of the information.
- Choose an attractive layout for the presentation. The easiest way to do this is to go to "Format" on PowerPoint's toolbar, then choose "Slide Layout." The best layout will depend on the content of the presentation, but choosing a layout that offers a place for charts, graphs, or pictures can be a great way to keep the attention of the audience.
- Also, make the background of the slides interesting to look at as well. Click "Format" again on the toolbar, but this time choose "Design Template" and select a template that will work best for the presentation.

- Add the content. Type in the information that needs to be presented. Also, include any charts, graphs or pictures that would complement the content and help illustrate the point.
- Add links to make the presentation interactive. Text, pictures or buttons can all be linked to a different page of the presentation or to another file or the Internet. Plan ahead. When a certain slide is presented, think of questions that could be asked of the audience. The audience could, then, decide which of the links to click on next.
Such interactive options can make the presentation more fun. To link something and make it active, simply highlight the text or object and go to "Insert" on the toolbar. Choose "Hyperlink." Type in the URL of a website on the Internet or select a slide from the existing presentation.
- Repeat this process on multiple slides of the presentation.

_ This topic is one of the most significant for me because it was really
interesting to learn how to create one; moreover, it was really nice to
have created one. I think that we as teachers, can easily make use of
technology by creating podcasts and vodcast for our students because if we create
our own podacasts in order to use them in our classes, we are not going
to have to go to the internet and find the appropiate podcasts for our
students, so that, we can create our podcasts, and also, we can teach our
students how to create one. Great teachers must be ready to use
technology in order to innovate and make more interesting our classess.
Nowadays, if we go at schools we can see that most of the English
teachers do not make use of technological materials, and I think that
if we innovate, and try to be more interactive by using different sources and methods in our classes,
students are going to be motivated, and they will have a meaningful learning.
EASY STEPS TO MAKING A PODCAST
EASY STEPS TO MAKING A PODCAST
- Get Inspired and Make It Your Own. If you want to make a podcast then you obviously must have some notion or idea about what you want it be about. Whether it’s cars, sports, fashion, politics, or even tech–use your interests to carry over and make a superior podcast. It’s usually a good idea to know what you want to say before going on the air so make an outline of the session’s topic and prep yourself before recording.
- Keep a Schedule. Podcasts can be daily or weekly, or just whenever you want. Consider how much time you have and work out a schedule with yourself, and/or with who ever is doing the show with you, to allow enough time for this task.
- Get Equipment. You will need some equipment like a microphone, a computer (with Internet connection) and some sort of audio recording software.
- Record and Tag. Try using Audacity, which is free, to record your show, and don’t forget to label and save your information.
- Save and Edit. Save your audio file (in MP3 format) to your computer desktop and edit out extra background noise or long periods of silence.
- Make an Intro. You can spice up your podcasts by adding an intro like some “lead-in” music or something else that you think people will find appealing– or if you don’t care what people think then just put whatever you want, or don’t put an intro at all.
- Create your RSS podcast feed. The feed must meet all industry standards for a valid 2.0 feed with enclosures. Starting a blog is probably the easiest thing you could do, so start a blog for your podcast but don’t post anything on it yet.
- Put your RSS podcast feed on the Internet. Go to Feedburner and type in the URL of your blog and click “I am a podcaster!” Configure your podcast on the next screen. Only add elements that directly relate to you podcast. Your feedburner feed is your podcast.
- Go to OurMedia.org and sign-up there. Then go to your files, and upload your MP3 file.
- Publish it. Post it on your blog or website -make the title of the post the title of that episode of the podcast and enter the URL for your audio file. Write a brief description under of the podcast’s content—make it clever and informative so people want to click on it and listen. At the end of the post, put a link directly to your media file.
- Wait a little bit. In a few minutes, you’ll have an episode! You may want to wait before submitting it to iTunes or another podcast directory until you’re completely satisfied with your podcast and you have some experience. And don’t forget to update and announce when you have new episode coming out.
- Get subscribers and regular listeners. Put the appropriate subscription buttons on your website so people can subscribe to the RSS podcast feed. Everybody wants “regulars.”

We have to keep in mind that we are not in the time in which big, old - fashioned, antique machines for recordings were used. Now, we have the usage of i - phones, which tool made possible the creation for podcasting. Podcasting is something we have to include on an English class, especially, to show our students the different and new - wave possibilities to use the language in a different way. Podcasting is necessary on an English class.
